The Unitive Life

Nārāyaṇa Guru (1856-1928) was a poet-seer from South India, who revalued and restated non-dual wisdom in a radical, down to earth and systematic manner. The book mainly contains one hundred and fifty conversations with Nārāyaṇa Guru, most of which are being translated and published in English for the first time. These conversations between the Guru and people from various walks of life, demonstrate the applicability of non-dual understanding to everyday life situations. The second part of the book contains selected works of the Guru, mainly poems, which testify wisdom and poetry as being one. The final section includes two works of his disciples, Swami Satyavrata and Natarāja Guru respectively, revealing the fact that Nārāyaṇa Guru was able to inspire some of the greatest lovers of wisdom and humanity.
